Buzz Westfall Justice Center
AccuCare Event Medical is hiring! We are looking for Emergency Medical Technicians - Paramedics (EMT-P’s) with a minimum of one-year experience as licensed, working EMT-P. Medics will work within the St. Louis County Buzz Westfall Justice Center in Clayton in cooperation with the Department of Health Corrections Medicine Staff.
Minimum Job Requirements
- • At least One-year licenced experience by the State of Missouri as EMT-P.
• Must have overnight availability.
Single Role Paramedic

Personnel are directed by departmental guidelines through direct supervision of the Station Captain. It is Paramedic’s responsibility to maintain a high level of self-motivation for self-improvement and advancement within the department.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Advanced knowledge and practical skills ability in the ALS care and treatment of EMS patients such as, IV insertion, ETT placement, EKG interpretation, etc.
• Knowledge of response districts.
• Good knowledge of departmental Rules and Regulations, SOG’s, and Protocols.
• Ability to clearly and calmly communicate with peers, officers, patients, public, and others under stressful time sensitive situations.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• Missouri EMT-P license
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Current AHA Basic Life Support
• Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements:
• Must possess physical agility necessary to lift and move patients safely.
