The Johnson County Ambulance District in Warrensburg, MO is accepting applications or the position of Battalion Chief – Director of Quality & Performance.
The principle responsibility of the Battalion Chief – Director of Quality and Performance (DQP) will be the management of the Quality and Training Division of the Johnson County Ambulance District (JCAD). The DQP performs complex emergency service and administrative work at a senior command level with responsibility for a broad range of administrative and technical activities and related work. The DQP serves as the agency Training Officer and Quality Officer. QUALIFICATIONS
Education Supervisor, management, or leadership training from a recognized professional EMS or fire association. High School graduate or equivalent Hold an Associate’s Degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university program. (Preferred but not required)
Experience Minimum of four years of experience in emergency medical services with at least two years of experience in a supervisory position and at least two years of EMS teaching experience.
Licensure & Certifications EMS Instructor Certification Must possess or obtain within 90 days of hire all licensure and certifications requirements for Paramedic

Sni Valley Fire Protection District is accepting applications for entry level Firefighter-EMT. Sni Valley will be hiring a total of nine (9) Firefighters in the first quarter of 2018. Anticipated start date for the first group will be February 5, 2018.
Salary: A four-step pay program starting at $40,238.80 - $43,992.40 annually, plus educational incentives, paid health insurance, and a full benefits package.

Description: Performs general duty firefighting work in the preventing, combating, and extinguishing of fires, and transport advanced life support emergency medical service functions, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Must be met prior to interview): High School diploma or GED, Missouri licensed EMT-B; possess or able to obtain a Missouri Driver’s license; Firefighter I & II certification, Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations level. Passing certificate for CPAT and FSEE within last 18 months. All candidates must pass an entry level physical, drug screen, and background check prior to final offer of employment. May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and /or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Assists in monitoring operational and financial performance of the department.
Assists in coordinating the daily operations of the staff.
Assists with researching, evaluating, selecting and implementing systems which improve efficiency of unit operations.
