Salary Range: $38,238.80 - $41,992.40 Annually; $40,238.80 - $43,992.40 annually after October 1, 2017, plus $5000.00 paramedic incentive, paid health insurance, and full benefits package. Actual final starting salary to be determined based upon years of prior experience. Location: Sni Valley District Oak Grove, MO Job Type: Full-Time; Continuous recruitment; open until filled Description: Performs general duty firefighting work in the preventing, combating, and extinguishing of fires, and transport advanced life support emergency medical service functions. Minimum Qualifications for Lateral Entry (Must be met at time of application): Licenses and Certifications: High School diploma or GED, Missouri licensed EMT-Paramedic and possess or able to obtain a Missouri Driver’s license; Firefighter I & II certification, Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations level. Education and Experience: To be eligible for lateral entry candidates must currently be employed as a full time, career firefighter, and have no less than two (2) years’ experience working as a career, full time firefighter in a department similar to SVFPD. Sni Valley Fire Protection District - Firefighter/EMT
Sni Valley Fire Protection District is accepting applications for one (1) full-time & multiple reserve Firefighter/EMT, Paramedic preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, Missouri licensed EMT and possess or able to obtain a Missouri Driver’s license; Firefighter I & II certification, Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations level. Current CPAT and FSEE (within 18 months) prior to start date.
