Army Medic looking for a home

Im a Medic serving my third tour in Iraq. Will be getting out soon and was thinking of relocating to Missouri. Is there any advice or direction I could get in seeking a job in the state? Is the pay competitive to other states? Is our profession in demand there? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank You. God Bless!

Nate,

In Missouri pay is tied in with the area you desire.  High volume metropolitan: St. Louis/Kansas City and Springfield all have somewhat higher hourly rates and comprehensive benefit packages than do rural.   Of course in rural you have lower volume but a much bigger playground for outdoor off-duty stuff

I manage a service in the South Central region of the State.  In this 15 or so county area you can anticipate around $11.00 starting.

If I can be any help not hesitate to contact me.  jimmcgee@shc-ems.com

Stay safe and thank you for serving our Country.

jim
